Free Applications and Tools Useful for Student this School Year

College life is a never-ending years of spending money. Now a days, all we can think when going to college is to invest rigorous amount of cash. Let's start with the tuition fees, books, allowance, lodging and a few bucks of daily expenses. But there are companies who understood college student's agony, and they offered it free. Others discounted there products and application for them.

These are some of the application and tools I know that will surely helps you a lot as student.

Office 365 Education - Is an application package given by Microsoft company. It's free for those students working on Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote. They can be accessible online with also 1TB of storage data from OneDrive, but be sure to secure valid academic email address to be granted. I believe there is more than application to that, it just depends on the school you're assigned.

LastPass - This company is a web-base, online managing password system. Don't worry they've been around for so many years now, and has served several thousands users worldwide. I myself used their services, its entirely legit. My account back then was a free membership, it has limited access to its full service potential, but the point of managing password is already given, what more can I asked? This year they're offering full access to students with valid academic address.

You may think, why would I be needing application like this.? Believe me, you'll crave for it. I'll give you a hint, research.

Autodesk company generously offers licenses for academic purposes on some of its product applications.

AutoCAD - This tool will served greatly for students taking up engineering related courses and architectural. Its given free, and for some schools has granted full usage of the said applications.

Maya and 3ds Max - Both application is also given free for educational purposes. For potential students, soon to be animators.

There are also applications that is discounted more than half its price for students and research. 

Adobe's Creative Cloud - This will suit for students walking the path to creative and art. The Adobe company is giving away more than half its yearly price, of course, for students only.

Spotify - Is also inviting students to avail its discounted prices rightfully for them.

Steam doesn't need to broke there promised, as they made to release the steamOS available for download. They also releases few 300 product for the benefit of the lucky testers. The application is capable of turning your boring TV unto a gaming portal like PC. There will also be some through back on the system, the installation process is somewhat heart-breaking for the procedure to erase all that's already been installed in your TV, it's like installing new operating system.
